BMC IMD Alert: High waves will rise in Arabian Sea, BMC issues advisory

Mumbai Municipal Corporation – BMC issued an advisory on Saturday warning people not to venture into the Arabian Sea till Sunday night amid high waves, saying no one should travel in the sea and should not even ask sailors to venture into the sea. Has been requested to go.

IMD and Indian National Ocean Data Center forecast

BMC further said that according to the report given by India Meteorological Department-IMD and Indian National Center for Ocean Information INCOIS, there is a possibility of high waves in the sea from 11.30 am on Saturday to 11.30 pm on Sunday.

Sea wave height is expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters

According to the advisory issued to Mumbai Municipal Corporation, the height of sea waves is likely to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters. BMC has also asked fishermen to remain alert. BMC Commissioner Bhushan Gagarin has directed civil servants to coordinate with police and security personnel at city beaches to prevent people from venturing into the sea.
