Haridwar, 23 April (Hindus). Hanuman Jayanti program was organized at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College located at BHEL. In the program all the students recited Hanuman Chalisa and presented bhajans.
Acharya Tigmanshu Badoni said that Hanuman Janmotsav is celebrated on the full moon day of Chaitra month. Hanuman ji is one of the most influential gods of Kaliyuga. He told that Ravana sought a boon from Lord Shiva to give him some solution to attain salvation. Then Shivji created a leela to provide salvation at the hands of Ram. According to the Leela of Lord Shiva, he took birth as Hanuman so that he could bring salvation to Ravana.
Principal Lokendra Dutt Anthwal said that Hanuman ji is rich in many qualities like devotion, strength, humility, intelligence, and spontaneity. He is an inspiration, protection, role model, guide and accessible deity for the devotees. Hanuman, the son of the wind, takes away all the sorrows of a person. The entire staff of the school was present in the program.
