This month, oil companies have shocked the customers by increasing the prices of commercial and small cylinders, while Hyundai cars have also become expensive from today. Huge jump in LPG cylinder prices, prices increased for the 7th consecutive time
Giving a big shock to the general public, government oil companies have increased the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by up to Rs 53.50 on the morning of June 1. This is the seventh consecutive increase in the prices of commercial cylinders. After this change, its price in Delhi has increased by Rs 42 to Rs 3,113.50. In Kolkata it has reached Rs 3,255.50 with a jump of Rs 53.50. Whereas commercial cylinder will now be available for Rs 3,067.50 in Mumbai and Rs 3,283 in Chennai. Along with this, the price of ‘Chhotu Cylinder’ used for domestic use has also been increased by Rs 11.
New rule of UPI payment, real name will be visible on the screen to prevent fraud
If you do UPI transactions through digital means like Google Pay, Phone Pay or Paytm, then a big and secure change is going to happen from today. National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has implemented a new rule to prevent online fraud. Under this, now as soon as you scan someone’s QR code or enter the mobile number, the real name of that person registered in the bank account will appear on the screen. This will prevent transfer of money to the wrong account and fraud through UPI.
Withdrawal of money from ATM may be expensive, UPI included in free limit
In the digital era, there is an important update for customers withdrawing money from ATM without debit card. Now UPI-based Cardless ATM Withdrawal will also be included in the Monthly Free Limit offered by banks. This simply means that if you exceed your bank’s prescribed free transaction limit, you will have to pay additional charges, just like a debit card.
June 15th is very important date for taxpayers, advance tax will have to be paid
Taxpayers will have to loosen their pockets for the financial year 2026-27. The last date to deposit the first installment of advance tax is 15th June. Taxpayers whose total tax liability exceeds Rs 10,000 will have to compulsorily pay 15 percent of their estimated tax by June 15. If you miss this deadline, you may have to pay a penalty interest rate of 1 percent per month.

Big cut in windfall tax on fuel export, export duty reduced
While providing relief at the domestic level, the Central Government has announced a reduction in the windfall tax on fuel exports. Under this, export duty on petrol, diesel and ATF (aviation fuel) has been reduced. According to the new arrangement, export duty on petrol has been reduced from Rs 3 to Rs 1.5 per litre. This duty will be Rs 13.5 per liter on diesel and Rs 9.5 per liter on ATF.
Deadline for free Aadhaar update nears, charge will be levied after June 14
If name, address, date of birth or any other information is wrong in your Aadhar card, then get it corrected immediately. The facility to update Aadhaar card online for free is ending this month. Its last date has been fixed as June 14. After this deadline, if you update online, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 25 and if you update offline by going to the Aadhaar Centre, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50.

Major change in PAN card rules, transaction limits changed
The Income Tax Department has made some important changes in the rules related to PAN card with the intention of keeping a check on black money and large transactions. According to the earlier rule, it was mandatory to provide PAN card for depositing cash more than Rs 50,000, but now this condition has been removed under the new income tax rules. On the contrary, to bring transparency in the property market, the limit for showing PAN card on purchase of property or land has been directly increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
