Chandigarh: Controversial IAS officer of 2014 batch of Haryana cadre Rani Nagar The process of termination of government service has reached the final stage. Rani Nagar was last appointed to the post of Additional Secretary and Director in the Archives Department on 11 March 2020. As per records, he served only till 27 October 2020 and since then he has been missing without any prior notice or leave.
He was continuously sent e-mails and notices by the government, but till date he has not taken cognizance of any of them. Formal disciplinary action was initiated against him in May 2022.
UPSC’s advice and government’s tough stance
