In compliance with the order of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, UPSRLM has decided to conduct a two-day special training campaign for financial literacy to the employees who have completed 1 year in rural areas.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that financial training of the employees is very important to fulfill the resolve of the Honorable Prime Minister to empower Uttar Pradesh. In this direction, training programs will be conducted from time to time as per the roster determined by UPSRLM.

The department informed that to promote banking services and financial awareness in rural areas, a two-day refresher and orientation training program will be conducted for 1650 Financial Literacy Community Resource Persons (FLCRP) at the RSETIs (Rural Self Employment Training Institutes) centers of the respective districts.

This training will not only improve the skills of the personnel, but will also see a big improvement in the ranking of Uttar Pradesh in the field of financial literacy. This step will prove to be a milestone in the direction of empowering the rural economy and taking digital banking to every home.
