Delhi police encounter Rohini: Last night, a flurry of bullets shattered the silence in Rohini area of ​​Delhi. Crime Branch of Delhi Police and Bihar Police together carried out a major operation, in which four members of the notorious Ranjan Pathak gang of Bihar were killed. Four policemen were also injured in this encounter, but bulletproof jackets saved their lives.

The encounter took place around 2:20 am on Thursday at Bahadur Shah Marg in Rohini. According to the police, they had received intelligence that this dangerous gang of Bihar is hiding in Delhi and is planning to spread terror by committing a major criminal incident before the Bihar Assembly elections.

When the joint team of police tried to stop them, the miscreants started firing indiscriminately at the police. In retaliation, the police also opened fire, in which all four miscreants were killed. The slain criminals have been identified as gang leader Ranjan Pathak (25), Bimlesh Mahato (25), Manish Pathak (33), and Aman Thakur (21), all residents of Sitamarhi, Bihar.

Confirming the operation, Delhi Police Crime Branch DCP Sanjeev Yadav said, “We had received concrete information about the presence of Ranjan Pathak gang in Delhi. When they were surrounded, they started firing. In retaliation, all four criminals were killed. This gang was wanted in many heinous crimes like murder and robbery in Bihar.”

This gang was involved in many serious incidents in Bihar including the murders of Brahmashree Sena district chief Ganesh Sharma, Madan Sharma and Aditya Singh. With this successful operation, a big conspiracy before Bihar elections has been foiled.
