Two different colors of weather (mixed trend) will be seen in Uttar Pradesh today i.e. on 28 June 2026. While on one hand, severe heat wave and humidity will continue in the districts of Western UP, on the other hand, there is a possibility of light rain and strong dust storm in many areas of Eastern UP.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), today the maximum temperature in the state is expected to be around 39°C to 42°C and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 29°C to 31°C. However, it is a matter of relief that this is the last phase of scorching heat. A new and heavy spell of rain is going to start in the entire state from June 29, due to which there is full hope of official entry of monsoon in Uttar Pradesh.

Western Uttar Pradesh: Last day of severe heat and humidity
If we talk about the districts of Western UP (like Meerut, Agra, Aligarh, Bulandshahr etc.), there is no hope of relief here even today. In the afternoon, hot westerly winds (loo) will blow along with the heat of the sun and the sticky humidity due to the moisture present in the air will make people uncomfortable. However, the news of relief for the residents here is that this outbreak of heat wave is limited to tonight only, because from tomorrow the weather pattern is going to change completely here too.
