Railway Recruitment 2025: North Western Railway 2025 Recruitment Process has started from 3 October 2025. This opportunity is being given to fill a total of 898 apprentice posts. Only ITI (Industrial Training Institute) passed candidates can apply for this recruitment. They can apply directly online through the official website nwr.indianrailways.gov.in. The last date for submission of the application is fixed on 2 November 2025, so the candidates should apply without losing time.

Age limit: Candidates should not be more than 24 years of age. However, age discount is available for some categories. There is a discount of 5 years for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and 3 years for other Backward Class (OBC) candidates. Additionally, qualified disabled people can be given 10 years discount.
Educational Qualification: Candidates will have to get at least 50% marks in class 10. Additionally, they should have the ITI certificate in the related trade issued by the NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training) or SCVT (State Vocational Training). Except for SC, ST, PWBD (physically disabled) and women candidates, all other candidates will have to pay an online application fee of ₹ 100.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of 10th grade marks and ITI certificates. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of these criteria. The final merit list will be prepared according to the department/unit, trade and community. Candidates whose names will come in the merit list will have to undergo medical examination, after which they will have to complete the document verification.
According to the official government notification, while calculating the marks of class 10, the marks obtained in all subjects are calculated on the basis of total marks. Not on the basis of any one subject or subject group. When calculating the percentage of ITI digits, calculation is done on the basis of marks mentioned in provisional or final certificate.
