
News India Live, Digital Desk: Regional Security: Security forces in Naxal -affected Karaikela area of West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand have recovered a huge amount of cash in the forest, carrying out a major action against the Naxalites. According to the police, a joint team of CRPF, Jharkhand Jaguar and District Armed Police carried out a large -scale search operation in the dense forests of Saranda and Nawada on the basis of secret information. During this campaign, the soldiers saw a bunkering structure. After a deep excavation and intense search, security personnel recovered cash of Rs 34.99 lakh hidden in two steel containers. Superintendent of Police SP Rakesh Ranjan said that the Naxalites had deposited this money to laying underground tunnels, weapons and explosives to harm the security forces. Officials said that the cash was collected by the Communist Party of India, Maoist, as a levy recovery. This major seizure is considered to be a befitting attack on the financial system of the Naxalites, which will weaken their ability to conduct their illegal activities. IG Manoj Kaushik, IG of Ranchi Range, has also confirmed this success and termed it a major economic injury for the Naxalites. Such frequent campaigns run by the security forces have broken the back of Naxalites in the area and this is an important step towards establishing peace and security.
