The National Center for Seismology – NCS measured the intensity of this earthquake on the Richter scale 4.0, which was later revised as 4.1. The center of the earthquake was located at a depth of just 5 kilometers from the ground in Alwar, Rajasthan. Due to such a low depth, its shocks were felt so fast till Delhi-NCR.

Thankfully, there is no news of the loss of life and property from this earthquake, which has breathed a sigh of relief. Let us tell you that Delhi-NCR comes in earthquake zone 4, which means that there is always a risk of earthquake here. Earlier, earthquake tremors have been felt in this area many times, some of which were far away in Nepal or Afghanistan. However, this time the Center was relatively close to Delhi, causing the panic to be slightly higher.
