Fierce conflict on Afghan-Pak border, huge loss to Pak Army

Afghanistan Pakistan Strikes 7 1

At around 4 am on Saturday, Taliban fighters launched a strong attack on Pakistan on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. This attack is believed to be a response to the air strike carried out by the Pakistani Air Force in Afghanistan. The Pakistani army appeared helpless in front of the Taliban’s cannons and machine guns. In this attack, two border posts of Pakistan were captured by Taliban. Also, Taliban has claimed that about 19 soldiers of Pakistan have been killed in this horrific attack.

Conflict erupted near Durand Line

According to the Taliban Defense Ministry, the encounter took place in Paktia and Khost areas near the Durand Line. Taliban fighters not only attacked Pakistani posts but also completely destroyed them. The situation became such that the Pakistani Army had to leave its post and retreat.

According to the statement of the Taliban ministry, 19 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack, while many were injured. At the same time, to hide its failure, Pakistan targeted civilian areas near the border with mortars. Three innocent civilians were killed in this action.

Capture of Pakistani posts

According to local Taliban media, the fighters have completely captured Pakistani posts. Reports suggest that firing is still going on from both sides. However, the Pakistani Army has not yet issued any official statement on this incident.

Tension increased after air strike

This attack took place after the attack by Pakistani Air Force in Afghanistan. 51 Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed in that attack. Pakistan had claimed that it had targeted terrorist hideouts of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). But the Taliban had given a strong warning, considering it an attack on its sovereignty.

Taliban’s warning came true

After the Pakistani attack, Taliban had said that it would have to pay a heavy price for this. This retaliation made the Taliban’s threat come true. The Taliban made it clear that it would not tolerate any foreign attack on its soil.
