US-Iran War Escalation: ‘Now it’s our turn…’ After Donald Trump’s order, America attacked Iran, loud explosions echoed in many cities including Bushehr which has a nuclear plant!

Just a day after the Iranian missile attack on the American military base in Jordan, the fire of war between America and Iran has completely flared up. In the early hours of Thursday (July 30), the US Air Force, following President Donald Trump’s tough stance, launched rapid air strikes on several strategic targets in Iran. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed this military action and described it as a decisive and strong step taken for the security of American troops deployed in the Middle East. The Trump administration has made it clear that any attack on American targets will not be tolerated.

Explosions echoed near the nuclear plant: Many provinces of Iran were shaken.

As soon as the attacks by American fighter jets started, there was panic throughout Iran. According to Iran’s state media and TV channels, a series of loud explosions were heard in the southern and coastal areas of the country. The greatest panic was seen in Bushehr province, where Iran’s only main nuclear power plant is located. Apart from this, missiles also fell on Kish, Qeshm and Abu Musa islands including Abadan region of Khuzestan and the strategic port city of Bandar Abbas in Hormozgan province and caused heavy damage to many targets.

‘Now it’s our turn’—Trump’s direct warning and 5-day pause ends

Just before the attack, US President Donald Trump had given a strong message in the White House, saying that now it is America’s turn to respond. Trump claimed that Iran had requested not to attack Jordan, calling the fired missiles a mistake, which was rejected. “We will hit them very hard and they know very well what is going to happen,” Trump said in a stern tone. The five-day pause in attacks that America had taken since last Friday has now ended and military operations have been intensified again.

US-Saudi joint attack in Iraq: stir due to death of 20 fighters

Along with the direct attack on Iran, the joint forces of America and Saudi Arabia also conducted a major operation in Iraq. The air forces of both the countries targeted the weapons depots and logistics centers of the Iran-backed armed group ‘Popular Mobilization Forces’ (PMF) present in Iraq. At least 20 PMF fighters were killed and more than 32 were injured in this air attack. Following the attack in seven provinces including Baghdad, Nineveh and Basra, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi has called an emergency meeting of the National Security Council.

Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) vow to continue the war

On the other hand, the Aerospace Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) has expressed strong objection to the American action. The IRGC claimed that they targeted a US airbase and CENTCOM headquarters in Jordan with several ballistic missiles. Iran’s army says that until America’s aggressive stance and its threats stop, their counter-resistance will continue with full force. Due to this war between the two superpowers, the tension in the entire Middle East has reached its peak.
