Ranchi, March 17 (Hindustan Reporter) Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested two people with liquor from Hatia Railway Station. 73 liquor bottles were recovered from them. The arrested accused include Ashutosh Kumar and Jaiprakash Kumar, residents of Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
According to the information received on Sunday, the flying team formed on the instructions of Ranchi Divisional Security Commissioner Pawan Kumar, during checking, saw two persons sitting in suspicious condition with heavy bags on platform number three. Upon investigation, 73 liquor bottles were recovered. The market value of the seized liquor is said to be Rs 14,700. During interrogation, both the accused told that they used to take liquor to Bihar and sell it at an expensive price. Assistant Sub Inspector Ravi Shekhar seized the seized liquor and arrested both the accused.
