The corporation has made it clear that now boring without permission can prove costly for water conservation and maintaining the groundwater level.
Those who have government water connection will not get permission.
The most stringent provision in the new guidelines of the Municipal Corporation is for those people who already have Municipal Corporation water connection in their homes. Such landlords will no longer be allowed to get boring done. The Corporation has warned that if government supplied water comes to any house and boring is done there secretly, then the water connection of the Municipal Corporation will be disconnected with immediate effect considering it illegal.
Heavy fees will have to be paid for boring, only 4.75 inches will be approved
The Municipal Corporation has also set technical and economic conditions for boring. Now only in the city 4.75 inches Only diameter boring will be allowed.

Agency Registration: Boring can be done only by the agency which is registered with the Municipal Corporation.

Rain water harvesting is mandatory, boring at night banned
Keeping environmental protection in mind, the Municipal Corporation Rain Water Harvesting Has been made a mandatory condition for permission for boring. Boring will not be allowed in premises where there is no harvesting system. Moreover, considering the noise pollution and the convenience of the common people 10 pm to 6 am There will be a complete ban on boring.
If you break the rules you will have to pay a heavy fine
The corporation has clarified that boring can be used only for the purpose (domestic or other) for which permission has been taken. If commercial use is found, the corporation will charge heavy fines. Also, the landlord will be held responsible for any adverse impact on the environment due to groundwater exploitation and legal action can also be taken against them.
