Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will come out in the form of Shri Manmahesh to know the condition of his people. This time in the month of Kartik-Agahan, five rides of Lord Mahakal will come out.
Temple Administrator Ganesh Dhakad told that like the month of Shravan-Bhadrapada, the first ride of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar in the month of Kartik will take place today on Monday with royal pomp and show after the formal worship at 4 pm in the Sabha Mandap. Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar will go on a city tour in the form of Shri Manmahesh to know the condition of his people. The procession of Lord Shri Mahakaleshwar along with police band, cavalry, armed police force personnel etc. will reach Ramghat beach from Shri Mahakaleshwar temple via Gudri intersection, Bakshi Bazaar Kaharwadi. After worshiping with the water of Mother Kshipra, Lord Mahakal's ride from Ramghat to Gangaur Darwaja, Mod Ki Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk, Khati Ka Mandir, Satyanarayan Temple, Dhaba Road, Tanki Square, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Mandir, Patni Bazaar, Gudri Bazaar. Via this route will again reach Mahakal temple.
In the same sequence, according to tradition, the rides of Lord Mahakaleshwar, which are taken out in the months of Kartik and Agahan (Margashirsha), will be taken out on the second ride on 11th November, the third ride on 18th November and the royal ride on 25th November respectively. Harihar Milan ride will be taken out on Sunday, 14th November.
