Ranchi, 02 November (HS). Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth said that even Chhath Maiya will not forgive the government for the plight of Bada Talab. He said that the state government and the municipal corporation are completely responsible for the plight of Bada Talab. For many years, the government and the Municipal Corporation have been asked to clean the Bada Talab, but the Municipal Corporation officials are sitting in the chamber and trying to run the city. The officers do not feel the need to come out of the chamber and visit the Bada Pond, which is very unfortunate.
During the inspection of Bada Pond on Saturday regarding Chhath festival, Seth said that the condition of this pond has become very worse. Now the water here is not even fit for devotees to perform Chhath in it. What is even more unfortunate is that the risk of infection spreading is also increasing here. The state government and the municipal corporation are still sitting idle. Four months ago, an effort was made to get a Dossier machine worth Rs. 8 crores from Coal India for cleaning the Big Pond and the Municipal Corporation was asked to take initiative on this, but due to their inaction, till now neither The machine came and the pond could not be cleaned. It is very unfortunate that devotees will celebrate Chhath in such water. The entire water of Bada Talab has turned green and it is giving off foul smell. How will Chhath Varti worship in this water?
On this occasion, Chunnu Mishra, Mandal President Rishabh, Rahul Sinha, Chunki, Lankesh Singh, Rajiv Singh, Shakti Ramayan Singh, Sanjay Jaiswal, Bablu Soni and others were present.
