Jaipur, 31 October (Hindustan Reporter). Everyone wants to celebrate Diwali with loved ones. For this reason, people going home on Diwali are seeing huge crowd in trains and buses. The more enthusiasm people are showing to reach home on Diwali, the more problems have increased for the roadways and road administration. Due to heavy crowd, safe operation of services has also become a challenge. On the intervening night of Wednesday-Thursday, a crowd of passengers was seen at many bus stands including Jaipur Sindhi Cap, Narayan Singh Circle. In view of the crowd, the roadways administration has also made arrangements for mobile tickets along with additional buses. The highest passenger load was on Agra, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Agra, Mathura Aligarh, Bareilly, Farrukhabad, Kasganj routes. More than 100 additional roadways buses are being run on these routes.
Chief Manager of Sindhi Cap Bus Stand, Rakesh Rai said that in view of the festival, additional buses were demanded and made available from the depots around Jaipur. Along with this, staff has also been deployed along with the vehicles from all the depots. As soon as there is a crowd of passengers at the bus stand. Keeping this in view, additional buses are being sent with passengers on that route. Apart from this, the Roadways Administration also provided the facility of mobile tickets in buses by appointing additional staff. The staff is going to additional buses and giving tickets to the passengers on the seat itself. So that there is no crowd at the ticket counter. Many officials have also been deployed to ensure that the passengers do not face any inconvenience. Staff holidays have been reduced. So that there is no problem in operating the buses. Hundred additional buses have been arranged by the Roadways Administration, which have been running continuously for the last two days. Additional buses are being run as per requirement. There was a huge crowd of passengers at the railway stations also. General coaches are already filled due to people's waiting in trains not being confirmed. The situation is such that there is no space to leg in the trains. Due to which North Western Railways increased the number of special train services in view of Diwali and huge demand for reservation. Despite this the passenger load did not reduce.
