More than 4 lakh people's problems resolved in village chaupalas

Under the leadership and direction of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Gram Chaupal is being organized every Friday in two gram panchayats of each development block of the state to solve the problems of the villagers. Due to this, the problems of a large number of people are being solved in their village itself. The government itself is going to the villages and the poor. While Gram Chaupals reveal the ground reality of various projects going on in the villages, the implementation of social sector schemes is gaining momentum.

In compliance with the instructions of Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaupals are being organized by making a solid and effective plan and before the Chaupals, special focus is being given on cleanliness in the villages and maximum publicity is also being spread about the Chaupals. Apart from personal problems, public problems are also being solved in Chaupals. The Deputy Chief Minister has instructed the concerned officials to ensure that village Chaupals are organized properly.

According to the information received from the Rural Development Department, Gram Chaupal was organized in 1292 gram panchayats of the state on Friday, out of which 3594 cases were resolved in the village panchayats themselves. 3331 block level officers and employees and 5913 village level employees were present in these village chaupals and more than 75 thousand villagers participated in these chaupals. Rural Development Commissioner GS Priyadarshi said that from January 23 till now, more than 01 lakh 05 thousand village chaupals have been organized, in which more than 73 lakh 93 thousand villagers were present and more than 04 lakh 21 thousand problems/issues were resolved.
