Lucknow, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). A tireless effort was made to improve the quality of education in the state universities of Uttar Pradesh by upgrading them through guidance, direction and encouragement for national and international rankings and by providing Anganwadi kits to the Anganwadi centers of the state. State Governor Anandiben Patel said this to an 18-member delegation including prominent journalists and editors of Madhya Pradesh at the Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhavan on Tuesday.
He said that work was done on innovations, beautification works and making the Raj Bhavan a public building in Uttar Pradesh. Referring to the various programs organized at Raj Bhavan, along with national festivals, special training programs were started from time to time for the women and children of the families of officers and employees posted here.
He informed that special programs like computer training for children studying in Raj Bhavan, training in making useful material from waste material, chikankari training for women, sewing training and judo training, program for Shree Anna dishes are being organised.
During the discussion, journalists also described these works as inspiring, with special focus on the unprecedented work done in the state universities of Uttar Pradesh, their upgradation to national and world level rankings and the various courses started here by associating with foreign universities. The Governor also discussed about improving the educational quality in universities and the application of Artificial Intelligence.
During the visit to Raj Bhavan, the delegation of journalists was greatly impressed by the beautification of the renovated buildings of Raj Bhavan such as Art Room, Currency and Stamp Room, Public Room, Annapurna Hall and Trupti Room. The experiences of the delegation's tour of Uttar Pradesh state and visit to Raj Bhavan were shared with the Governor. He also showed special interest in the books published from Raj Bhavan and also received a copy of the book 'Hamara Raj Bhavan' from the Governor, which comprehensively contains the details of the innovations of Raj Bhavan.
