Fatehabad, 28 September (HIST). Under the Swachhta Hi Seva Fortnight, as per the instructions of SP Aastha Modi, a special cleanliness campaign was conducted by the police personnel in the police line located on Hisar Road on Saturday.
Police personnel participated enthusiastically in this campaign. The police personnel who were responsible for maintaining law and order and arresting criminals held brooms in their hands and started cleaning. The cleaning that took place everywhere since morning lasted for more than 2 hours.
Apart from the police line, cleanliness was carried out in all the police stations across the district under Swachhta Hi Seva Pakhwada. In which all the staff including the station in-charge participated. SP Aastha Modi, while appreciating the cooperation given by the police employees in this campaign, said that Swachhta Hi Seva Pakhwada is being organized from 17th September to 2nd October on Gandhi Jayanti. In this sequence, cleaning has been done today. We will continue this continuously, so that the police station premises remain clean and the employees also remain healthy. The SP also appealed to the common citizens to adopt cleanliness.
