Lucknow, 27 September (HS). Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that farmers are victims of neglect in the BJP government. BJP made many big promises to farmers including doubling their income but did not fulfill any of the promises.
The SP President said that this government is not able to provide fertilizers, seeds and other facilities to the farmers. Farmers need DAP, NPK and other fertilizers for sowing potatoes, wheat and other crops but farmers of Kannauj, Mainpuri, Sambhal and other districts are wandering for DAP fertilizers and fertilizers. There is no fertilizer on cooperative societies. In Sambhal, farmers are seen standing in long queues throughout the day for DAP. Still fertilizer is not available. The farmer is feeling cheated.
Akhilesh Yadav said that Annadata is surrounded by all-round problems in the BJP government. Farmers in Terai districts are suffering from floods. Hundreds of villages are in the grip of floods. Their crops have been ruined. No help is being received from the government. There is panic and trouble among farmers and common people due to wolves and wild animals in Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Balrampur and Sitapur. Many people have lost their lives in attacks by wild animals.
Similarly, farmers' crops are suffering huge losses due to stray animals, but this government is completely indifferent to the problems of the farmers. Corruption and inaction dominate the entire system in the BJP government. The attitude of this government towards farmers has always been neglectful. The policies of the BJP government are anti-farmer and exploitative. Farmers are being exploited at every level.
The farmers of the entire country including Uttar Pradesh have understood the lies and loot of BJP. Now the farmers will not tolerate this government. Will teach a lesson to BJP in the times to come.
