Haridwar, 25 September (HS). On the instructions of District Magistrate Karmendra Singh, surprise raids were conducted in various schools of the district, which caused a stir in the education department. During the surprise inspection, the attendance of students was found to be very low, while many teachers were found absent. Show cause notices have been issued to all such teachers along with the order to stop their salary.
In accordance with the instructions of the District Magistrate, Sub-District Magistrate Ajayveer Singh conducted a surprise inspection of five schools, P.B.M. Inter College, Bahadarabad, Government Inter College BHEL, Upper Primary School and Government Primary School BHEL.
Tehsildar Bhagwanpur Harihar Uniyal reached Government Primary School Mandwar, Government Primary School Chauli, Government Primary School Chhapur without any information and matched the students with the attendance register of all the classes.
Special Land Administration Officer Laxmiraj Chauhan inspected Government Primary School Rawli Mahdood II, Government Primary School Bahadarabad, Government Primary School Bagla I, Government Primary School Baugla, Government Primary School Baugla II.
Additional Deputy District Magistrate Yukta Mishra conducted surprise inspection at Government Primary School Rampur, Government Primary School Ibrahim Deh, Government Primary School Saliyar Salhapur, Government Primary School Puhana, Government Primary School Nandeha Anantpur.
Tehsildar Haridwar Priyanka Rani inspected Government Primary School Jwalapur-03 Shastri Nagar, Government Primary School-28 Devpura, Government Primary School-16 Kankhal, Government Primary School-18 Kankhal, Government Primary School-25 Tibdi.
Deputy District Magistrate Bhagwanpur Yukta Mishra made a surprise inspection at Government Primary School Khanpur, Government Primary School Ruhalki Dayalpur, Government Primary School Premraj Pur, Government Primary School Sartheri, Shahjahapur First, Government Primary School Baleki Yusufpur.
The District Magistrate said that during the surprise raid, a large number of students were found absent and many systemic deficiencies were found in the schools, while many teachers were found absent from the school without any information. The District Magistrate has given instructions to the Chief Education Officer and Primary Education Officer to stop the salary of 17 assistant teachers and seek clarification.
