Programs organized at many places under Cleanliness is Service Campaign | News India

Dehradun, September 25 (HS). Many programs are being organized at various places in the state under the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, through which people can be made aware about cleanliness. These programs include street plays, cleanliness campaigns, health camps for sanitation friends and cleanliness oath.

Nandprayag Nagar Panchayat organized an environment friend safety health camp at the Primary Health Center on Wednesday, in which health check-up of all the environment friends of Nagar Panchayat Nandprayag was done. Dr. Chanda Rawat, Dr. Pranjal Chandra and Dr. Kavita Kanderi etc. were present in the health team.

On the other hand, in Pipalkoti, under the “Swachhata Hi Seva-2024” campaign, a health camp was organized by the Nagar Panchayat in the Additional Primary Health Center under the “Safai Mitra Suraksha Camp” on the topic “Only when the environment friend is healthy, the city will be clean”. In this, the health of all the environment friends working in the Panchayat was tested and “Hepatitis-B and Tetanus” vaccination and blood test were done.

Executive Officer of Nagar Panchayat Pipalkoti Upendra Dutt Tiwari, Anil Singh Rawat, Atul Rana, Mohit Singh, Virendra Lal and all the environment friends working in Nagar Panchayat, doctor of Additional Primary Health Center Pipalkoti Dr. Bhawan and all the employees were present in the program. Nagar Panchayat Pokhari also organized a health check-up camp.

In Mussoorie too, a special cleanliness drive was carried out by the Municipal Council on Wednesday under Swachhata Hi Seva 2024. Under this, cleaning was done from Barah Kanchi Road to Kinkreag Road, in which about 100 kg of garbage was collected. The collected garbage was loaded into garbage vehicles and sent to the MRF Center located at Mussoorie IDH.

The above special cleanliness drive was conducted with the help of Rajveer Singh Chauhan, Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Mussoorie; Sanitation Inspector, Virendra Singh Bisht, Supervisor, Municipal Council, Mussoorie.

Pharmacist Antyodaya Day was celebrated in the Nagar Panchayat Dhandera office under the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan in Haridwar. A health camp was organized for environmental friends in this.

On Wednesday, students of Cantt Inter College Chakrata and Cantonment Board Chakrata organised a rally on the topic of “Cleanliness campaign, cleanliness of nature and cleanliness of sanskars” under the leadership of Principal Vedprakash. In this, all the respected people present in Chakrata market were made aware through street plays.

A special program was organized on the topic “Cleanliness is Service” in PM Shri Balika Inter College, Haldwani. College students participated in the program with great enthusiasm. Program coordinator Sharmishtha Bisht said that Gauri Joshi got first prize, Aradhya Mishra got second prize and Tanuja Melkani got third prize in self-composed poem recitation competition. Kanchan got first prize, Chetna Joshi got second prize and Priyanka Goswami got third prize in speech competition. Geeta Bisht, Priyanshi Kumari, Pooja Saxena, Khushi Joshi, Meenakshi were honored with certificates and medals for the quiz competition. College students Vanshika, Karishma, Payal, Himani, Iffat presented songs along with a musical presentation on cleanliness.

Regional Publicity Officer Neeraj Bhatt said that on the instructions of the government, the unit is organizing cleanliness awareness programs in collaboration with different organizations. During the campaign, a tree is also being planted in the name of mother.
