DGP honoured Head Constable Hariram and Constable Munesh who rescued a 5-year-old girl from the clutches of a kidnapper – News India Live | News India

Jaipur, September 10 (HS). Director General of Police (DGP) Utkal Ranjan Sahu has honored two policemen of Neem Ka Thana – Head Constable Hari Ram and Constable Munesh – by giving them cash prize and commendation letter for showing alertness and dedication in rescuing a 5-year-old girl from the clutches of the kidnapper and arresting the accused who was kidnapped from village Nareda of Kotputli district last Sunday. Sahu on Tuesday presented 15 thousand cash and Director General of Police commendation letter to Head Constable Hari Ram, in-charge of Outpost Toda under Police Station Sadar in Neem Ka Thana district, and 10 thousand cash and Director General of Police commendation letter to Constable Munesh at Police Headquarters.

DGP Sahu congratulated both the policemen on this occasion and said that both the policemen played an important role in recovering the girl and the kidnapper by working hard with devotion to duty, which is highly commendable. He encouraged Hariram and Munesh and motivated them to continue working with the same diligence in future as well. IG Police Jaipur Range Anil Kumar Tank was also present on this occasion.

Jaipur Range IG Tank said that upon receiving information about the kidnapping of a 5-year-old girl from village Nareda in Kotputli district on September 8, on the instructions of SP Vandita Rana, under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Nem Singh, Circle Officer Rajendra, SHO Kotputli Rajesh, SHO Sarund Imran and SHO Paniyala Mohar Singh along with the force were deployed for intensive search of the girl.

On receiving the information about the kidnapping, blockades were immediately put in place. The team searching for the girl thoroughly checked the CCTV cameras installed around the crime scene. From the CCTV footage, an unknown person was seen taking the girl towards Patan on a motorcycle. The CCTV footage of Patan Road was checked and the Patan Police Station and Neem Ka Thana Police were informed about the appearance of the unknown person and the age of the girl.

Strict blockade was done on the roads leading to Police Station Neem Ka Thana Sadar and teams deployed from District Kotputli were engaged in the search of the girl and the kidnapper and kept chasing them while checking CCTV. During the search, on the instructions of SHO of Police Station Neem Ka Thana Sadar, Head Constable Hari Ram and Constable Munesh, in-charge of Police Outpost Toda, also blocked their area.

On seeing the suspect during the blockade, Head Constable Hariram and Constable Mukesh tried to catch the kidnapper, meanwhile the kidnapper left the girl and the motorcycle and ran away into the hills. Both the policemen showed their presence of mind and took help from the villagers. Then they climbed the hill and chased the kidnapper with the help of local citizens and succeeded in recovering the girl. At the same time, both the policemen also arrested the kidnapper Mahavir Gurjar resident of Lakha Ki Nangal Police Station Harsora.
