On the eve of the 76th Republic Day, President Draupadi Murmu approved the award of Bravery Awards to 93 armed forces and central armed police forces (CAPF) personnel, out of which 11 will be awarded posthumously. The list released by the Ministry of Defense consists of 2 Kirti Chakra and 14 Shaurya Chakras, which are the second and third highest valor awards given for extraordinary courage in peacemaker.

- 14 Shaurya Chakra (posthumous)
- 1 time to Army Medal (Gallantry)
- 66 Army Medal (Gallantry) (7 posthumous)
- 2 naval medals (galvanti)
- 8 Air Force Medal (Gallantry)
Honored with Kirti Chakra:
- Nayak Dilwar Khan (28 National Rifles) – posthumous
- Major Manjeet (22 National Rifles)
Both demonstrated valor in anti-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir.

Posthumous honor of heroes:
In the declared awards, 1 Kirti Chakra and 3 Shaurya Chakra will be given posthumously. Apart from this, 7 army medals (galvancles) will also be provided posthumously.
