In view of the seriousness of the situation, the ban on curfew and internet services in the goods warehouses and Nishtantkili police station areas has been further increased.

Actually, this whole matter is related to violent clashes after the ‘Ravana Podi’ program on Dussehra. During this time, there was a sudden clash between the two communities, which took a big form on seeing it and tension spread in the city. The situation had deteriorated so much that the police administration had to impose curfew and stop internet services, so that rumors would not spread and the situation could be controlled.

The Commissioner of Police of Cuttack has confirmed these arrests. He made it clear that every necessary steps are being taken to maintain peace and order. At present, the police is investigating the entire case seriously and there is a possibility that there may be more arrests in the coming days. The main goal of the administration is that peace and normal life can be restored in the city as soon as possible.
