50% staff to work from home, without PUC no petrol; Rekha Sarkar’s grand plan ready to deal with pollution 50% staff to work from home, no fuel without PUC; ‘Rekha Sarkar’s’ mega plan ready to tackle pollution.

The government has come into full action mode to deal with the dangerous air pollution that is increasing in the capital Delhi and surrounding areas with the onset of winter. In view of the dangerous level of pollution, ‘Rekha Government’ has prepared a very strict and comprehensive ‘October-November Action Plan’ for the month of November. Under this new government order, many big and strict decisions have been taken to crack down on the factors causing pollution in Delhi-NCR, which will have a direct impact on the general public and the employees working in government and private offices.

Half the crowd will gather in offices and there will be less vehicles on the roads.

To control the increasing pollution and smog, this time the government has played a big bet of work from home. According to the new rules, all government and private offices working in Delhi will have to allow 50 percent of their employees to work from home. The main objective of this move is to halve the number of vehicles on the roads, thereby drastically reducing the emissions of vehicle exhaust and smoke. Along with this, changes in office timings (Staggered Timings) are also being considered so that traffic jams can be avoided during peak hours.

Complete ban on getting petrol and diesel without valid PUC certificate

This time the government has taken the biggest and toughest attack to stop pollution caused by vehicles. Now petrol or diesel will not be given to vehicles without valid Pollution Control Certificate (PUC Certificate) at any petrol pump in Delhi. All petrol pump operators have been given strict instructions to digitally check the PUC status of every vehicle before filling fuel. If a driver is found without PUC, not only will he be refused fuel but he will also be slapped with heavy fines and legal action.

Strict restrictions on construction works and strict adherence to grape rules

In the November action plan of the Rekha government, strict restrictions have also been imposed on construction activities to prevent dust pollution. There has been a complete ban on all non-essential construction work and demolition going on within Delhi. The use of water sprinkling and anti-smog guns on roads has been doubled, implementing the next phases of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) ahead of schedule. The government has made it clear that a zero tolerance policy will be adopted against societies, builders or individual homeowners violating the rules and heavy fines will be levied.
