27 lakh lamps will be lit on Gudi Padwa in Ujjain on April 9, world record will be created

Bhopal, 22 February (HS). 27 lakh lamps will be lit in the “Shivjyoti Arpanam” lamp festival program organized on the occasion of Gudi Padwa on 9th April in Ujjain. In this, 25 thousand volunteers, more than 200 social organizations, NSS, NCC students, social workers and common people will come together to light lamps at all the ghats of Kshipra river and create a world record.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav reviewed the preparations in the meeting of the advisory committee constituted for the program in Ujjain on Thursday evening. On this occasion, he said that as soon as a good work starts, people keep joining. He said that there is a tradition of lighting lamps in Indian culture. Deep light connects to God. He appealed to the citizens to enrich their religious and cultural traditions by participating in the Shivjyoti Arpanam program on Gudi Padwa and Ujjain Pride Day on 9th April.

He said that all the devout citizens of Ujjain should participate in the Shivjyoti Arpanam program and help in creating a world record. He said that this time the lamp will also be lit at Bhukhi Mata Mandir Ghat. A cultural program will be organized at Ramghat. The people of Ujjain will make this festival of lights memorable by lighting lamps in public places and every home.

Discussing the cooperation of the citizens of Ujjain, Dr. Yadav said that when Vikramotsav was started 20 years ago, it was of a very small format. With the cooperation of the citizens of Ujjain, it has taken a grand form today. He said that Ujjain got a king in the form of Vikramaditya who had the ability to turn adverse circumstances in his favor.

Describing the glorious history of Vikramaditya, he said that today even superpower countries like Russia and America respect India because of its Sanatan culture. The credit for this goes to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

MLA Anil Jain Kaluhera said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, we will work step by step for the development of Ujjain.

In the beginning, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav warmly welcomed Mahant Rameshwar Das, Prajapati Brahmakumari Usha Didi and other saints and sages by presenting them with a bouquet. Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashish Pathak told the outline of the program. On this occasion, Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Vivek Joshi, Bahadur Singh Bormundla, former MLA Rajendra Bharti, Shyam Bansal, social worker Surendra Singh Arora, Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh and administrative officers and public representatives were present.
