1. These trains will be completely canceled (Cancelled Trains)
Following trains will remain closed for a long time due to line block in Nagpur:
Tatanagar-Itwari Express (18109/18110): this train 3 May to 24 May 2026 Till will be canceled in both up and down directions. About 20 of its trips have been cancelled.
Shalimar-Mumbai Kurla Express: this train 4th April to 26th April 2026 Will remain canceled for 12 days between.
Shalimar-Mumbai Dnyaneshwari Express: this train 4th April to 24th April 2026 Will remain canceled for 12 days between.
2. Impact on Vande Bharat and other trains (Delays)
All three running from Tatanagar Vande Bharat Express (Ranchi, Rourkela and Berhampur) also since last few days 1 to 1.5 hours Are running late.
Chakradharpur-Tatanagar Route: Passenger trains are taking 4 to 6 hours to cover this short journey (62 km).
Affected trains: Long distance trains like Udaipur-Shalimar Express, Ahmedabad, Itwari, Asansol and Gitanjali Express are also running late.

Check Booking: If you have booked tickets in these trains for April or May, then definitely check the PNR status because booking of many trains has been stopped.

According to railway officials, this decision has been taken to ensure ‘infrastructure upgrade’ and safe rail operations. The work being done in Nagpur division is directly impacting the Tatanagar and Chakradharpur divisions of South Eastern Railway (SER).
