2 people including Mumbai IPS Dr. Sudhakar Pathare died in car accident

Mumbai – Mumbai Police IPS officer Dr. Sudhakar Pathare died in an accident. He was going to Telangana to visit the temple. Then his car crashed. Pathare is a 2011 batch IPS officer. His death has caused a feeling of mourning in the Maharashtra Police Force.

Presently, Dr. Sudhakar Pathare was working as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of Port Zone in Mumbai Police. He went to Hyderabad for training. From there he was going to see Jyotiling with a relative. A terrible accident occurred when an ST bus and car collided. Due to which, it is reported that the Pathare and his relatives also reached the verge of death due to serious injuries. Meanwhile, the Telangana Police informed the Mumbai Police about the incident.

Sudhakar Pathare, originally from Parner Taluka in Ahmednagar district, was a 2011 batch IPS officer. He worked as an officer in various government departments before becoming an IPS officer. He made M.Sc. Studied agriculture, LLB.

In 1995, he became a District Special Auditor, taking competitive examination. After this, in 1996, he was selected on the post of Sales Tax Officer Class-1. He joined the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police in 1998. He served in Pandharpur, Akaluj, Kolhapur, Rajura.

He served as DCP in Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. SP Vaibhav Gaikwad, SP of Kurnool, Telangana, said that both persons were going to Srisailam by Innova car. Then at around 12 noon, his car was hit by ST bus in Ghat area. Sudhakar Pathare suffered a head injury. While Bhagwat Khodke suffered legs and internal injuries. He was taken to a private hospital. Where the doctor declared him dead.

The Mumbai Police shared this sad news on its social media account, saying that the Mumbai Police is deeply saddened by the Mumbai Police today announced the untimely demise of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sudhakar Pathare in a road accident near Hyderabad. DCP Pathare served the police department with commitment and loyalty.

The tweet further states that his contribution in maintaining law and order in Mumbai Port Zone and earlier Navi Mumbai was invaluable. His death is a major loss.
