Zero tolerance on adulteration and adulteration at petrol pumps
During the raid, shocking cases like ghatauli (dispensing less oil) by installing chips in many petrol pumps and controlling the machine through remote control have come to light. E-points and nozzles were closely inspected in many big cities including Lucknow. The department has clarified that the process of canceling the licenses of the pumps where irregularities have been found has been started. Apart from this, thousands of liters of illegally stored diesel and huge quantity of LPG cylinders have also been seized.
Chief Minister’s strict order for public convenience
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has clearly told the officials that black marketing in things related to the needs of the common man will not be tolerated at all. The aim of the government is that every citizen of the state should get pure fuel at the right price. Under this campaign, not only raids are being conducted, but the system of digital surveillance and surprise inspections at petrol pumps is also being tightened to prevent such incidents in future. This campaign of the government is now expected to ensure a transparent distribution system.
