Yashasvi Jaiswal aims for a big record, will leave the giants behind

Jaiswal close to creating history

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 209 runs in the second test match against England and 214 runs in the third test match. In the third test match, he adopted an aggressive stance against the spinners. He hit 12 sixes in the innings. He presented a brilliant example of batting. Jaiswal has so far scored 861 runs in 13 test innings for Team India. If Yashasvi scores 139 runs in the first innings of the fourth Test against England, he will complete 1000 runs in Test cricket. That means he will complete 1000 test runs in the 14th innings. In this way he will equal the record of Vinod Kambli. Kambli took 14 innings to complete his 1000 Test runs. Currently, Kambli is the fastest batsman to score 1000 test runs for India.

If Yashasvi Jaiswal scores 139 runs in both the innings of the fourth test match, then he will complete 1000 runs in 15 innings. But still he will break the record of Cheteshwar Pujara. Pujara has completed one thousand runs for India in 18 innings.

Scored a century in T20 also

Yashasvi Jaiswal made his debut for India in the year 2023. He scored a century in his debut match itself. He has won everyone's hearts with his brilliant batting in his very first match. For some time now, whenever Yashasvi Jaiswal has got a chance in the Indian team. He is fast with both hands. Jaiswal has also scored a century in T20I for Team India. He has scored 502 runs in 17 T20I matches for India, which includes four fifties and 1 century. But he has not yet made his ODI debut for Team India.
