According to experts, 85 percentile is a “borderline” score. It is difficult to get Computer Science (CSE) in top colleges for General Category, but there are still many good options open through Category Reservation and Home State Quota.

Shiv Nadar and Bennett University: The infrastructure and placement record here is quite excellent.

Thapar and JP Institute: If your rank is around 1.5 lakh, then you may get a chance in some branches here.
