News India Live, Digital Desk: After the election results came out, internal discord in Bihar Congress has come to the fore. Recently, workers staged a strong protest at Sadakat Ashram, the headquarters of Bihar Congress in Patna. His anger was directed at state in-charge Bhakta Charan Das, and some other senior party leaders, including Rajesh Ram and Pappu Yadav.

The protesting Congress workers directly allege that it was because of these leaders that the party had to face defeat in the elections. He says that these people sold tickets by taking money and conspired internally to defeat the party candidates, due to which Congress had to suffer the consequences. During the protest, the workers were raising slogans like ‘Down with those who defeat Congress’, which clearly showed their displeasure.

This protest was being led by State General Secretary Dr. Shashi Ranjan. He and other workers alleged that these leaders have betrayed the party, which has dealt a deep blow to the prestige of the Congress. He has demanded from the party high command that strict action should be taken against all such leaders and there should be change in the leadership of Bihar Congress. Some workers have even warned that if their demands are not heeded and action is not taken against the culprits, they will resign from their posts. This shows that the dissatisfaction within Bihar Congress has run deep and internal challenges have increased after the party’s failure in the elections.
