News India Live, Digital Desk: The chessboard for the 2027 assembly elections in Bihar has already started to be laid. Now RJD has made a new move in the ongoing war of words between NDA and Grand Alliance. Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav has given a shocking statement saying that if Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) makes Samrat Chaudhary the chief ministerial face in the upcoming elections, then RJD workers will be most happy. This ‘psychological’ attack by Shakti Yadav has sparked a new discussion in the politics of Bihar.

Shakti Yadav’s taunt: “Our path is easier with the arrival of Samrat Chaudhary”

RJD spokesperson sarcastically said that Samrat Choudhary may be a big leader for BJP, but he has no influence on the ground. He said, “We want BJP to put him forward. There is no attraction among the public towards Samrat Choudhary due to the kind of politics and language he uses. If he becomes its face, it will become easier for Tejashwi Yadav to win Bihar. Every RJD worker wants to compete with him.”

Targeted at Nitish Kumar and Muraitha

Shakti Yadav also took a dig at Samrat Chaudhary’s old resolution (tying Muraitha), which he had taken to remove Nitish Kumar from power. RJD spokesperson said, “How will the people of Bihar trust a person who could not stick to his resolve and bowed down before the same Nitish Kumar whom he called ‘trash’? Samrat Choudhary has mortgaged his politics for personal ambition.” He alleged that BJP has no vision of its own and is only relying on borrowed leaders.

Tejashwi Yadav vs ‘Who’? The war of 2027 will be interesting

This statement of RJD has come at a time when there are frequent reports of tussle within BJP regarding the chief ministerial face. RJD deliberately wants to create an uncomfortable situation between other senior BJP leaders and alliance partner Nitish Kumar by raising the name of Samrat Chaudhary. Shakti Yadav made it clear that the contest in 2027 will be of ‘work versus words’ and the public will calculate the 17 months of tenure of Tejashwi Yadav versus the 17 years of BJP’s rule.

BJP’s counterattack: “RJD should worry about its home”

BJP has also reacted strongly to this statement of Shakti Yadav. BJP leaders say that RJD does not need to interfere in the internal affairs of BJP. The NDA alliance is united and the vehicle of development is moving forward under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. BJP believes that RJD is only trying to spread confusion as it is scared of Tejashwi Yadav’s declining popularity.
