Palamu, June 4 (HS). Police has intensified the investigation of the recovery agent Priyaranjan Kumar murder case that happened late Monday evening in Satbarwa Chatti of Satbarwa police station area. It is not clear yet whether the recovery agent was killed in robbery or due to personal enmity. Unknown robbers shot and killed the recovery agent under a Mahua tree near the Malay river in front of the house of late Fagu Singh while he was coming from Dhawadih. Police recovered the bike of the deceased in standing condition from the spot.
The deceased's father Yugesh Ram has given a written application in Satbarwa police station on Tuesday that his son has been murdered by unknown criminals, in which it was told that Priyaranjan (21 years) from Jogia, Sohdi of Dhawadih, Leslieganj, Dabra was working as a field officer in IIFL Samasta Finance Company. The father has requested to solve the case soon.
Cousin Sandeep Kumar said that he had spoken to Priyaranjan on telephone at 2.30 pm and 5.40 pm. The criminals looted more than Rs 28 thousand recovered from the house. There was also a scuffle.
