Washington: An Indian man was shot dead in the American state of Alabama. It was told that this citizen of Indian origin had a hotel business and he had a dispute with a customer regarding a room, after which the customer shot and killed the owner of the motel.

According to the information, Praveen Raojibhai Patel, owner of Hillcrest Motel in Sheffield, was shot dead a week ago. William Jeremy Moore, 34, was arrested on suspicion of murder. Police officials said that the accused wanted to take a room on rent, during which a fight broke out and he took out a gun and shot Patel.

The officer said that the accused Moore was immediately caught by the Sheffield Police. Police said that when Moore was searched, a gun was recovered from him. Police said that statements of eyewitnesses near the incident site have been taken.
