UP government’s big decision on stray dogs, now if the second is cut, “life imprisonment”

Post

The Yogi government has taken a big and strict step to the increasing terror of stray dogs in Uttar Pradesh. Now if a stray dog bites a person twice, he will have to spend his entire life in the Animal Birth Control (ABC) center. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the safety of common people.

What are the new rules?

According to the government order, if a dog bites someone for the first time, it will be kept in the ABC center for 10 days. During this time, his health and behavior will be closely monitored. He will also be vaccinated with anti-rebbit and a microchip will be installed in his body, so that it can be tracked in future.

But, if the same dog attacks someone again after being released from the center, the matter will become serious.

How will action be taken?

After the second time cutting incident, a special team will investigate the matter. The team will include Livestock Officer, Municipal Corporation representative and members of Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

This team will find out that the dog did not attack without any provocation. If this thing is found to be correct in the investigation, then the dog will be kept in the ABC center for a lifetime, until someone adopts it officially.

To implement this rule, the victim will have to give a certificate of treatment from the government hospital, on the basis of which the municipal team will catch the dog and send it to the center. This step of the government is an attempt to reduce the increasing conflict between humans and animals.
