The process of scrutiny application for students dissatisfied with the declared results of High School (10th) and Intermediate (12th) examination 2026 of Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has been completed. A total of 25,620 candidates from the state, unhappy with their obtained marks, have officially filed online applications for re-evaluation of copies and re-checking of marks.
The last date for filling the scrutiny form on the official website of UP Board www.upmsp.edu.in was fixed as May 17, which has now ended. According to the data received from the board, this time maximum applications have been received from Prayagraj region, while Bareilly region has been at the bottom in this list.
Prayagraj regional office receives record applications, lowest demand for re-checking in Bareilly
Out of the total five regional offices of UP Board, Prayagraj Regional Office, which is responsible for maximum 23 districts, has received the maximum number of 10,525 applications for scrutiny. If we analyze the data of this region, these include 1,894 high school students, while a record 8,631 candidates of Intermediate (12th) have voted for scrutiny of their copies. On the contrary, the least number of applications in the state have been registered under the Bareilly regional office, from where only 2,288 students have expressed their confidence for scrutiny.
Final result of scrutiny will be declared by July 15, decline in applications this year
The UP Board administration has intensified internal preparations for sorting out applications for scrutiny and revaluation of copies. As per the guidelines of the Board, all the applications and cases received for scrutiny will be disposed of expeditiously as per the rules and the final revised result will be declared officially by 15th July.
Interestingly, compared to previous years, there has been a significant decrease in the number of students undergoing scrutiny this year, which is believed to be the effect of the improving evaluation system of board examinations. If we look at the figures:

Forum of meritorious students organized in Prayagraj, 10th and 12th topper students honored with citation
On one hand, while students are waiting for the results of scrutiny, on the other hand, a felicitation ceremony was organized for the promising ones who have shown their glory in the state and district level merit list of UP Board Exam 2026. These meritorious students were honored and encouraged in a grand ceremony organized on Monday at the Office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), Prayagraj.
Chief guests of the function, Divisional Joint Education Director RN Vishwakarma and District School Inspector PN Singh started the program by lighting the lamp. During this, 5 promising students of the district who made it to the top-10 list of Uttar Pradesh in high school, 18 meritorious students of the top-10 list of Prayagraj district and 13 toppers included in the top-10 list of the district in Intermediate (12th) were honored with special mementos and citations.
