Worship Method: Bappa will be pleased like this
Bath and resolution: Wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, take a pledge to fast with water in your hand.
Kalash installation: Install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha at the place of worship.
Bhog and Durva: Offer his favorite modak, laddu and 21 durva (grass) to Bappa. Apply tilak with red vermillion.
Mantra and text: Chant the mantra ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ and recite Sankatnashan Ganesh Stotra.
Moon Darshan: Offer Arghya in the evening when the moon rises and then break the fast.
