Patna/New Delhi. As soon as summer holidays start, getting confirmed tickets in trains becomes like winning the battle. In view of the huge crowd of passengers and long queues of waiting list, Indian Railways has given great relief. East Central Railway (ECR) has announced the operation of ‘Summer Special’ trains this year, which will provide great convenience to the passengers traveling between Bihar, Delhi and Bengaluru (Yesvantpur).

New Delhi-Supaul-New Delhi Daily Special (04072/04071)

This train will prove to be a lifeline for those traveling between Delhi and North Bihar. This train will also connect major cities like Ghazipur, Varanasi and Prayagraj.

Train No. 04072 (New Delhi to Supaul): It will run from New Delhi at 8:30 pm daily from 17 April to 15 July 2026 (except some dates in May). It will reach Hajipur at 9:05 pm the next day and Supaul at 6:35 am the third day.

Train No. 04071 (Supaul to New Delhi): It will depart from Supaul at 07:45 am daily from 19 April to 17 July 2026 and reach New Delhi at 3:00 pm the next day.

Major Stoppages: Hajipur, Shahpur Patori, Barauni, Begusarai, Khagaria, Mansi, Simri Bakhtiyarpur and Saharsa.

Anand Vihar-Jogbani-Anand Vihar Weekly Special (04008/04007)

This train is a great option for the travelers of Seemanchal region, which will run via Moradabad and Gorakhpur.

Train No. 04008 (Anand Vihar to Jogbani): It will depart from Anand Vihar at 08:30 am every Saturday from 18 April to 11 July 2026 and reach Jogbani at 3 pm the next day.

Train No. 04007 (Jogbani to Anand Vihar): It will depart from Jogbani at 6:30 pm every Sunday from 19 April to 12 July 2026 and reach Delhi at 03:00 am the next day.

Major Stoppages: Araria Court, Purnia, Katihar, Mansi, Barauni, Hajipur, Chhapra and Gorakhpur.

Saharsa-Yesvantpur (Bengaluru)-Saharsa Special (05551/05552)

For students and employed people going to South India, a train is being run directly from Saharsa to Bengaluru (Yesvantpur).

Train No. 05551 (Saharsa to Yesvantpur): It will depart from Saharsa at 8:30 pm every Thursday (16, 23 and 30 April) in April 2026 and reach Yeshwantpur at 10:30 pm on Saturday.

Train No. 05552 (Yesvantpur to Saharsa): It will depart from Yesvantpur at 07:00 am every Sunday on 19th, 26th April and 03rd May 2026 and reach Saharsa at 11:00 am on Tuesday.

Major Stoppages: New Barauni Junction, Kiul, Jhajha, Asansol, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
