News India Live, Digital Desk: Discussions regarding women empowerment have once again intensified in Bihar politics. Janata Dal United (JDU)’s senior leader and national spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan has made a big prediction regarding the upcoming elections. He has clarified that due to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the foundation of a big social revolution has been laid in the country. According to Ranjan, the elections of 2029 will be recorded in the democratic history of India as the year of ‘women’s revolution’.

Big announcement on political participation of half the population While addressing the media in Patna, Rajiv Ranjan said that the Women’s Reservation Bill (Nari Shakti Vandan Act) is not just a law, but a step to give wings to the dreams of crores of women. He said that just as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar brought women into the mainstream by giving 50 percent reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions, on the same lines, now women will make their presence felt strongly in the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies of the country. The JDU leader stressed that the picture of the House will be completely changed in the 2029 elections.

Ranjan lashed out at the negative politics of the opposition During this period, JDU spokesperson also made a scathing attack on the opposition camp. He said that those who are questioning the timing of implementation of this reservation are actually afraid of the upliftment of women. Rajiv Ranjan said, “The opposition kept this issue pending for decades, but today when the NDA government has converted it into reality, they are seeing flaws in it.” He made it clear that as soon as the process of delimitation and census is completed, women will snatch their rights and the year 2029 will prove to be the most important milestone for this.

Nitish model appreciated across the country Rajiv Ranjan, citing Bihar’s programs like ‘Cycle Scheme’ and ‘Jeevika’, said that Bihar has always led the country in respecting women power. He claimed that women will not only vote in large numbers in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, but their number as candidates will also be historic. This statement of the JDU leader has sparked a new debate in the political circles, as it indicates that the NDA is preparing women voters as its strongest stronghold in the coming years.
