He said that just as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar brought women into the mainstream by giving 50 percent reservation in Panchayati Raj institutions, on the same lines, now women will make their presence felt strongly in the Parliament and Legislative Assemblies of the country. The JDU leader stressed that the picture of the House will be completely changed in the 2029 elections.

Rajiv Ranjan said, “The opposition kept this issue pending for decades, but today when the NDA government has converted it into reality, they are seeing flaws in it.” He made it clear that as soon as the process of delimitation and census is completed, women will snatch their rights and the year 2029 will prove to be the most important milestone for this.
