The first ‘player Health and Welfare Policy-2025’ made the state to implement the state

Bihar is going to take a historical step towards empowerment and health safety of women players. The Sports Authority will soon implement “Bihar Player Health and Welfare Policy-2025”, which will make Bihar the first state in the country where the physical and mental health of women athletes will be given top priority. The main objective of this policy is to encourage women players to perform high and perform high performance.

Under this policy, it will now be mandatory to conduct a detailed medical checkup and dopping test of all women players (testing of drugs or powerful medicines) before participating in any national level sports competition. This investigation will be necessary before representing Bihar in India or any national sports competition. This test will examine various problems related to the physical health of girls, hormonal imbalances and any possible internal illness, which can affect their performance or become a threat to their health in the future.

The special thing is that all these medical examinations will be completely free. The government will ensure that women players associated with sports get great health facilities at every level. The task of medical test is entrusted to the ‘Center for Excellence’, who will work together with a specialist medical team. Doctors and experts will also be called from outside if needed so that accurate and effective investigation can be ensured.

This policy will prove to be a milestone in the sports history of Bihar. This will provide women players a safe and supportive environment to perform their best in the playground without any concern.
