News India Live, Digital Desk: Urban Development : There is a big good news for the people of Ranchi! The experience of traveling by buses in the city is now going to change completely. Jharkhand government has given green signal to the project of building three new and state-of-the-art national level bus stands in the capital Ranchi. These bus stands will be developed on the lines of airports, where passengers will get world class facilities. Crores of rupees will be spent on this entire project.
Where will these new bus stands be built?
To reduce the traffic jam of Ranchi city and provide better facilities to the passengers, these three bus stands will be built at different entry-exit points of the city.
- On Kanke-Ring Road: This bus stand will be built near Simliya and Ring Road of Kanke.
- On Namkum-Tata Road: The second bus stand will be built on Tata Road near Namkum.
- On Tupudana-Khunti Road: The third stand will be built near Khunti Road in Tupudana area.
Why was there a need for these new bus stands?
At present, the entire burden of Ranchi is on Khadgarha bus stand, which is located in the heart of the city. About 1500 buses come and go from here every day, due to which there is severe traffic jam in the city. With the construction of the new bus stand, the burden on Khadgarha bus stand will be reduced and the city will get great relief from the traffic jam. There will be no need for buses to come inside the city, they will leave for other districts and states from the Ring Road itself.
