Hardoi, June 29 (HS) The responsible people are not refraining from sabotaging the Chief Minister's ambitious IGRS scheme. One such case has come to light from Beniganj police station. In which the inspector Ramshankar Pandey has made the deceased a witness in the investigation. On receiving the complaint, on Saturday the SP has suspended the inspector and ordered a departmental inquiry.

According to the information, Ranjit Kumar alias Bantu, a resident of Beniganj police station, had made an online complaint to the police on the IGRS portal. In which the victim had made serious allegations and demanded action. When the investigation was handed over to Sub-Inspector Ramshankar Pandey, he made the deceased Surendra an independent witness. Who had died on 26 May 2024.

SP Keshav Chand Goswami got this serious matter investigated. In which it was found that Sub Inspector Ramshankar Pandey had recorded the statement of the deceased person as an independent witness. Considering it as serious negligence, the SP suspended Sub Inspector Ramshankar Pandey and ordered a departmental inquiry against him. This action has created a stir in the police department. Also, negligence in the Chief Minister's ambitious scheme has become a topic of discussion. ASP Eastern Nripendra Kumar said that Sub Inspector Ramshankar Pandey of Beniganj police station was found guilty. Against whom SP Hardoi has taken action of suspension and ordered a departmental inquiry.
