320+ to 280 numbers (Premium Score): Students who are scoring in this bracket by solving 70 to 85 questions correctly can easily target the top IITs of the country and the most demanding premium branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE). For B.Tech CSE in IIT Bombay, Delhi and Madras, candidates must have All India Rank (AIR) less than 200 with 280+ marks.

280 to 240 marks (good score): Students who score marks in this range can secure their place in the top-10 IIT institutes in their preferred and good branches.

240 to 200 marks (average score): On this score, there is every possibility of getting core branches in the old IIT or a decent option in the new IIT.

200 to 150 marks (qualifying score): This number usually means that you have merely qualified the exam and are still in the race for IIT.

Category wise qualifying cut-off: Experts released big estimate

General Category: According to ALLEN experts, this time the minimum qualifying cut-off for the general category is expected to be around 20.6 percent. On the other hand, according to Physics (PW), this cut-off can go in the range of 93 to 94 percentile.
