The ongoing conflict between Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family and his party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has now come out openly on the streets. In this family Mahabharata, now Lalu’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav has jumped into the support of his sister Rohini Acharya. On Tuesday, he wrote a post on social media and gave a direct and sharp warning to those who have ‘insulted’ his sister. Tej Pratap has clearly said that such people ‘will have to pay the price’ for this.

‘Traitors will have to face consequences’

Tej Pratap, who was already sidelined from the party, expressed his anger on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “We will not tolerate the insult of our sister under any circumstances. The ‘Jaichand’ traitors who have done this will have to face the consequences.”

Tej Pratap alleged that some ‘Jaichands’ had treated his sister Rohini very badly. Expressing her heartache, she wrote, “The ill-treatment meted out to our Rohini Didi by these Jaichands has shaken us to our core. Whatever happened to me, I tolerated it. But the insult to my sister is absolutely unbearable.”

He wrote in a warning tone, “Listen with open ears, if you attack our family, the people of Bihar will never forgive you.”

Emotional appeal to father Lalu Yadav

Tej Pratap did not stop here. He also made an emotional appeal to his father and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. He linked this fight to the honor of the family and the self-respect of Bihar.

He wrote, “Father, just give a gesture. On your single gesture, the people of Bihar will bury these traitors themselves. This is not a fight for any party, but it is a fight for the honor of the family, the dignity of a daughter and the self-respect of Bihar.”

Why is Tej Pratap angry?

This anger of Tej Pratap did not erupt suddenly. Just a few days ago, his sister Rohini Acharya had made a shocking announcement and publicly talked about breaking relations with her family and RJD. Rohini had alleged that she was badly humiliated, abused and even threatened to hit her with slippers.

Te-Pratap has earlier also said that whatever happened to his sister has “shaken” him. Now his new statement shows that the dispute within the Lalu family has reached such a point where the path of reconciliation seems difficult.
