The Meteorological Department has issued an alert especially for North Bihar. Fog may occur in the following districts in the next 24 to 72 hours:

• Madhubani
• Darbhanga
• Samastipur
• Muzaffarpur
• Vaishali
• Shivhar

Therefore, if you drive in these areas during the morning hours, it is advised to exercise some caution as fog may make visibility difficult.

Relief during the day, but the nights are getting colder

At present, the weather condition in Bihar is such that one does not feel cold when the sun is shining during the day, but as soon as the sun sets, the mercury falls rapidly.

• Minimum temperature: 18 to 20 degrees Celsius
• Maximum Temperature: 28 to 30 degrees Celsius

The Meteorological Department says that there will be no major change in the temperature for the next few days, but the nights will feel colder.

According to the scientists of Patna Meteorological Centre, this time winter has knocked about a week in advance. This is because of the strong westerly winds that blow in late October, which drop the temperature rapidly.
