News India Live, Digital Desk: South Film Industry: director Vikram Sugumaran Shocked by the sudden demise of the actress Viji Chandrashekhar on Monday appealed to the people not to do much work nor should he take tension on themselves. He played an important role in Vikram Sugumaran’s film ‘Madhayanai Kodam’.

Director Vikram Sugumaran’s AKnowing about the timely demise, actress Viji Chandrashekhar released a video statement, in which she said, “Vikram Sugumaran’s death is a big blow. I have acted in her film ‘Madhayanai Kotam’. It was a film that gave me a lot of fame. He was a very talented director.”

Viji Chandrashekhar told that the director called him two months ago and told him that he is going to start his next film in Tamil month Thai. He told that the director looked very excited that he was bringing a very good script. The actress said, “I can’t understand what is happening to everyone. Those who are there today will not be there tomorrow.” She was still in shock.

He said, “I express my deep condolences to all his family members and friends of the film world. I still do not believe.”

The actress then appealed to the people. He said, “I want to say only one thing. I have recently realized that people who are working day and night are taking too much stress on themselves, they are suddenly losing their lives. He used to talk to me a lot.

Filmmaker Vikram Sugumaran, who is known for the directed ‘Madha Yanai Kotam’, who is known by critics, died on Monday after a heart attack in Chennai. He was 47 years old. Sugumaran was coming back from Madurai after hearing a new script to a manufacturer, when he had a severe chest pain. Although he was rushed to a nearby hospital, the doctors could not save him.

Sugumaran started his film career as an assistant to veteran director Balu Mahendra between 1999 and 2000. He later made his mark with ‘Madha Yanai Kotam’, which was a rural drama that was appreciated for its raw story and social comment.

His most recent directed film was ‘Ravana Kottam’, which featured Shantanu Bhagyaraj in the lead role. Paying tribute to the late director,

Shantanu wrote on social media platform X, “#Rip dear brother. I have learned a lot from you and will always cherish every moment. You will go very quickly. You will be remembered. #Ripvikramsugumaran”.
