Monsoon has said goodbye to North India, but its farewell is still pending in South India. The weather pattern is such that on one hand the people of Delhi-UP are feeling slight coolness, while on the other hand there is a possibility of thunderstorm in many southern states.
Come, let us know how the weather condition is going to be across the country today.
Delhi-NCR: No tension of rain, but the wind is getting a bit bad
It is a matter of relief for the people of Delhi that there is no possibility of rain now and the weather is going to be clear. The period of mild sunshine during the day and pink cold in the morning and evening has started. The Meteorological Department says that the real cold will be enjoyed only after Diwali.
However, a small concern is that Delhi’s air quality (AQI) has started to decline slightly. The AQI recorded at 6 am today was 131, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.
The real drama is in the south! (storm warning)
If you are in North India, the weather is pleasant, but if you are in the South, have an umbrella and raincoat ready!
- Kerala and Tamil Nadu: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rain in these states from October 14 to 18.
- Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana: In these states too, there is a possibility of strong winds (30-40 km/hr), lightning and heavy rain for the next few days.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for all these states and advised people to be careful.
How will be the condition of UP-Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan?
Monsoon has almost departed from these states. Here too the weather has started getting cold. However, the possibility of light drizzle cannot be ruled out, but overall the weather will remain clear and now the temperature will gradually drop. Soon a decent winter is going to hit here too.
